Jesus is Life, part 3

Speaker : Maury Brenneman

We can only hope to have life to the fullest if we embrace the Word, in all its glory and truth.

There was a man sent from God whose name was John.

Sent by God

The message reflected on the words, “There was a man sent from God whose name was John.” John the Baptist’s role was not to draw attention to himself, but to point others to Jesus. His life was a testimony to obedience and faithfulness in fulfilling God’s calling.

This reminds believers that our lives, too, are meant to point others toward Christ.

Embracing the Word

True life begins when we embrace God’s Word fully—not selectively, but completely. The Word brings truth, exposes darkness, and leads us into freedom. When we receive it with humility, it transforms how we think, live, and love.

This message encouraged listeners to engage deeply with Scripture and allow it to shape every area of life.

Life in the Light

Jesus, the Word made flesh, brings light into darkness. Through Him, we are invited out of confusion, fear, and brokenness into clarity, hope, and renewal.

Walking in the light of Christ means trusting His truth and allowing His life to flow through us daily.

Living the Life He Offers

The message concluded with a call to live fully surrendered to Jesus—the source of true and lasting life. When we follow Him faithfully and remain grounded in His Word, we experience the fullness of life He promises.

Jesus is life, and in Him we find life to the fullest.
