The Life in Store for Us

Seeing with God’s Perspective

We often judge ourselves and others by what we see on the outside—failures, weaknesses, or past mistakes. But God looks at the heart. Scripture reminds us that while people focus on appearances, God sees who we truly are and who we will become.

Jesus called His disciples not because they were qualified, but because He would qualify them.

From Preparation to Transformation

John the Baptist’s baptism was a sign of preparation—an outward act showing readiness for what God was about to do. But Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit, bringing true transformation from the inside out.

This baptism doesn’t just symbolize change—it creates it. The Holy Spirit regenerates us, reshapes us, and begins the lifelong process of becoming more like Christ.

Trusting the Process

God does not waste anything in our lives. Every challenge, season, and struggle is part of the process He uses to grow us and prepare us for what’s ahead.

Sanctification is not instant perfection—it is daily surrender. God declares us holy in Christ and then patiently leads us through growth, endurance, and transformation.

Called as We Are, Changed as We Follow

When Jesus called Simon, He named him not by who he was, but by who he would become—Peter, the rock. This same truth applies to us today.

Jesus calls us as we are, but He never leaves us there.

The Invitation: Come and See

Each disciple came to Jesus in a different way—some were invited, some were searching, some were found. But the invitation was the same: “Come and see.”

This message was a call to trust Jesus fully, follow Him closely, and believe that the life He has in store is greater than anything we could imagine.
